Wenatchee: Still One Of The Greenest In The Nation
Wenatchee: Apple Capital of the WorldDid you see this article in Country Home Magazine about the top "Green" cities in the U.S.? Wenatchee comes in at #5, the highest ranking of any Washington State city.
The only other Northwest city ranking higher was Corvallis, Oregon at #3. The next highest ranking Washington cities were the Seattle-Everett-Bellevue cluster at #32. Olympia came in at #36. This link will take you to the full list.
There wasn't any reference to an explanation as to the criteria used in compiling the list.
